Mac Para Technology produces a full line of paragliding wings. Several Mac Para wings, specifically the Muse II, the Eden III, the Spice, and the Pasha II, have extremely popular with powered paraglider pilots for some time. Their popularity is attributed to their proven safety, their ease of inflation, and their responsiveness to light control pressures.

Typical features designed into the construction of Mac Para paragliders include:

The Muse II, Eden III, Spice and Pasha 2 are equipped with trim tabs to assist the pilot in compensating for the torque effects when utilizing a paramotor. The trim system can also be utilized as flaps are utilized on conventional aircraft to configure the shape of the wing for various takeoff, landing and flying conditions.

Typical construction techniques utilized in the manufacture of Mac Para paragliders include:

Mac Para Technology utilizes the concept of diagonal cells which allows greater distances between suspension points which in turn reduces the number of lines required. Fewer lines results in a lighter canopy and easier inflations.

Mac Para Technology incorporates the use of tapes between the attach points of the A, B, C, and D suspension lines which help distribute the lift of the wing more evenly on the lines.

Powered ParaSports has chosen the following paragliders from the line of Mac Para Technology paragliders as those best suited for powered paragliding.

Muse II

Muse paraglider

The characteristics of the Muse II place it fully in the DHV 1 class. It is easy to launch and has a very high passive stability. As a school glider or as a first glider, the Muse provides a high degree of safety yet an ample degree of maneuverability. It has good performance, while remaining very stable and easy to fly. It is a good choice for the occasional or recreational pilot. Inflation and launch of the Muse is very easy. Only light pressure is required on the A-risers to get the wing to rise to the overhead position. The Muse has no tendency to over-fly.

Eden III

Eden 2 paraglider

The Eden III is an evolution from the Eden and Eden II. Its profile so precisely refined that the Eden III's profile has been used on several other Mac Para paragliders including the Pasha II. The Eden III is capable of competing with performance wings yet it is certified AFNOR standard (25 & 27) and DHV 1-2 in all sizes. The control pressure is progressive which adds an additional element of feedback to the pilot regarding control input beyond control position. The Eden III is ideal for pilots looking for an agile and efficient glider with safe DHV classification.

With light control pressures, the Pasha II- 42 is an incredible maneuverable DHV 1-2 certified glider. The Pasha II- 42 is a superb wing for solo or tandem PPG trike operations and for exceptionally large powered paraglider pilots.
